A Free Knitting Pattern
If you follow along on my Instagram account you will know that I have started learning how to make stranded work. I have really had a lot of learning this new skill. Since I also crochet it has been fairly easy for me to figure out how to use both of my hands at the same time, and I'm getting pretty quick at it.
This pattern design was a quick idea that I charted out with Stitch Fiddle. I wanted a pattern to try that wouldn't have a lot of yarn floats in it. Floats were giving me trouble and they were slowing me down. This design was an answer for that.
In the pattern below it is the written out pattern. I have the PDF pattern for sale in my Shop. The PDF has the written instructions and the chart for the complete hat.
For the yarn I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn in the color troll. The colors were so fun and vibrant. They were already in a cake so all the colors were already picked for me for no fuss. For this hat I chose the color on the outside and the color on the inside. You can do what you want. With one cake I was able to knit three adult hats. That's a pretty great deal!
