Marlow Hat

A Premium Knitting Pattern

I'm so excited to have have this hat ready for you. I named it the Marlow Hat because I liked that the name started with a M and finished with a W. Depending on the the way you look at it the hat has M's or W's on the brim whichever way you look at it.

It is so fun and easy to knit up. The pattern is worked flat and shaped using short rows. If you have never worked with short rows this is a great pattern to start on.  My test knitters had no problem following the pattern and charts and one told me this would be their new go to pattern for quick gift knits.

I really wanted this hat to be versatile and easy to wear. It can be worn a little slouchy or it  can be folded over for extra warmth and comfort. The pattern also has the adjustments in it to make it more of a beanie style with no slouch or fold over. It's all up to you for how this hat will turn out.

When you purchase this pattern you are getting the written instructions for the slouch and beanie, and you will also get a chart to follow, if you like those better. This pattern has been tech edited and tested, you will be able to find the tester's project pages on Ravelry.

I also want to talk about yarn choices. The yarn I used for this pattern is Classic Elite yarns Renaissance. Some other great choices for this yarn is Stylecraft Special Aran, Lion brand wool ease, Drops Alaska, and Cascade yarns 220 Super wash Aran.
