A Free Crochet Pattern
Now about the cowl, it is one long piece with buttons on one end. The double crochet makes the button holes naturally. The pattern is intermediate, but it is a simple pattern if you are familiar with post stitches and and crossover stitches. It is very versatile it can be worn over the shoulder, or like a bandanna. When it is really cold I have even been know to where it as a head scarf.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such a unique design - I love the shape, but especially adore the cables. They're a fave of mine, but I didn't know they could be crocheted so beautifully that they look knitted! Thanks again, Caro
ReplyDeleteAm I right in beginning with a basic chain for the dc?
ReplyDeleteYes you can start with a chain instead. It will be 61 chains.
