I'd like to make the headband with and without the pineapple and I'm a bit new to crocheting. Could you please tell me where to start the band piece that connects the pineapple motif? I love this pattern and am making the entire design as we speak! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteif. you just want the band ch 5, and SL st into first ch to make a ring, then ch 3, ( 2 DC, ch2, 3 DC) in ring, next row: ch 3 ( 3 DC, ch 2, 3 DC) in ch 2 of previous row. repeat last row till you have the length you need, and join.
ReplyDeleteI just wrote that all wrong I wrote it for one shell not two. I'll try again. ch 5, SL st into first ch to make a ring, then ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 DC), in ring, ( 3 DC, ch2. 3 DC) in same ring, next row: repeat row 9 of the pattern, and continue repeating till the length you want, and join.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pattern, Julia! I was inspired when I saw it in Crochet World and I'm a little over half way done on the first half. I think my Mom will love this for Mother's Day! Thank you and Congratulations!
