Keeping it inside out I folded the top edge down so that the front of the fabric was showing just a little, then I inserted the fabric pouch into the bag, so you can see the front fabric inside the bag. last I sewed around the edge of the bag and fabric securing it. I also added the handles before the last step so you don't see the handle ends.
